CBC ComedyCoup is giving us the viewer the power to support our favourite comedy show concepts. The winning concept will receive $500K in production financing to create a half-hour special for CBC prime time. For 10 weeks comedy creators from across Canada will create thousands of comedy concepts for us to support and vote on. This is viewer feedback at its finest. May the funniest videos win!

Chokochup

Concept: “When recent graduate Benson Blair is excised from his parent’s house he creates a fictional product, Chokochup, in order to qualify for subsidized office space in a trendy part of town, which he covertly converts into an apartment. While his entrepreneurial peers attempt to launch their products and impress Ryan Fitzpatrick the billionaire who owns the swanky office building, Benson, under the guise of Chokochup (a disgusting combination of chocolate and ketchup), takes full advantage of the commons space, the receptionist, the free coffee and along with his lady-loving best friend, runs illegitimate business activities.”
