It was the evening before my wedding at Sun Peaks Resort and I was having drinks with my friend Jenn Sweezy. In a panic she blurted out that she had forgot to mention she could do my makeup for the wedding day if I wanted. I laughed and told her thank you for the offer. At that point everything was arranged to have a local makeup artist come out the next morning to do makeup. Wedding-Eve continued on and the attendees (including myself) were more than primed by the time I was pulled away by my responsible bridesmaids.
As the sun came up the next morning I was already awake thinking about the day ahead. I rolled out of bed and freshened up just before my bridesmaids and hairdresser/friend arrived. Time went on and people started to ask about where my makeup artist was. I sent her a few texts with no response so I started calling her. Nothing. All of my bridesmaids were in full panic mode when I assured them it would all be o.k. because I was going to call Jenn. Jenn was on her way to the gym when I called her. She immediately re-routed back to her room to grab supplies. She was at our door with a briefcase of makeup and tools in less than 15 minutes. With limited time she was able to pull off the impossible. She did the makeup for 4 bridesmaids, 1 mom, and 1 bride with only moments to spare. It was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Jenn had saved the day. Just before we were getting ready to leave I received a phone call from the makeup artist that was supposed to come. She had slept through her alarm because she was hungover. As it turns out she ended up drinking the night away with one of the groomsmen… so I told her we had it covered and she could go back to bed.
Since this initial makeup experience with Jenn I have had nothing but praise for her. She helped my hairdresser/friend prepare for doing her own makeup at her Jamaica wedding, and most recently she came to Revelstoke Resort to do my sisters wedding makeup for her and her bridal party. Again she did an amazing job and my sister (who is a makeup crazy perfectionist) was very happy with how it turned out.
I have nothing but good things to say about Jenn Sweezy and her talents. Not only is she an amazing friend, but she is an amazing artist.

Nice !!
